Meaning "covering" in Hebrew and "where the land and water separate" in Japanese, Kisuii debuted its modern line of feminine swim and resort wear in 2016. Founded by New York- and Tel Aviv-based designer Leora Elituv, the label is known for its rich fabrics and minimal embellishments, such as sarongs crafted of washed silk and bikinis finished with fine embroidered smocking. Elituv, a graduate of Parsons School of Design, draws inspiration from her global travels to inform this graceful collection of simple, elegant pieces.
