Hailing from Paris, Lola Ehrlich opened her first millinery shop on St. Marks Place, the cultural hub of New York City’s East Village, in 1989. Ehrlich and her team stretch, press, steam, and trim every hat by hand to create a one-of-a-kind piece at her atelier in Brooklyn, where she is now located. Embellished with whimsical bows, oversized brims, and fluffy pom-poms, her playful designs have graced the runways of influential designers and appeared on the covers of leading fashion magazines.
